How to Use Gyraline
1. Take your 1st Measurement
Place the Gyraliner against a flat surface of the wheel and tap the wheel on the screen that corresponds with the wheel you are measuring.
2. Take your 2nd Measurement
Move to the other side of the axle you are measuring and take your second measurement. Be sure to keep the top of the Gyraliner facing forward relative to the vehicle.
3. Final Measurement
Move back to the original side where you took your first measurement and take a measurement again. You now have your first alignment reading!

I like the gyraline so far. I do 95% of my own auto work, and this just saved me 150.00 on a front end alignment. Make sure you are on a firm level surface for the most accurate measurements. I really hope they come out with the Android version soon. I purchased the iPhone version only because my son has an iPhone. Yes, this is a good product. I used it to set the toe on a Jeep Cherokee.

What a genius idea

I’m a german car enthusiast with several old and very old cars in my family. I often come to the point, that I need to adjust the bones of the car. Without special equipment for thousands of euros, I used the wire method, until now! I’ve seen this product and my engineering brain was directly obsessed. Excellent addition to any DIY’er toolbox…..can get close to/achieve alignment rack accuracy w/o all the old school hassles & inaccuracies dealing w/ string lines, Jack stands & a tape measure. Does take some getting used to using this thru your phone’s sensors & proper plate placement on wheel rims……but there are several YouTubers who have provided some tips they’ve learned that can reduce the learning curve & improve tool accuracy at the same time. Never realized just how sensitive & accurate these IPhone internal motion sensors are! In closing, this is an excellent 21st century resolution to the old school DIY methods……which makes this tool an excellent choice IMHO.

this thing is awesome!!!
I took my car to the dealership 3 times to get them to straighten my steering wheel after doing an alignment that left it crooked.

Pretty ingenious tool.
Yet to check it against our Hunter but data is very repeatable. Obviously having a straight set of wheels with machined face to get an accurate reading. Will be very handy at the track to do quick checks.
